The Hive was founded after a series of text messages by Yvonne and Peggy in November 2011, two bloggers living in two different cities, who met over their blogs. Five months after these message, The Hive - The European Blog Conference took place for the first time in Berlin.
Peggy has left the organisation team since her family and a successful blog keep her busy, but do check out her blog Paul et Paula.

Founder and organizer

Yvonne is the cofounder of The Hive. She lives in Hamburg, Germany together with her Superdog.
She has worked in various agencies for pr and
digital communication and considers herself a geek
with a deep love for all things digital
and blogging. Her blog, The Girl in the Laundromat,
is a diary about what she is up to, when not
daydreaming of traveling to Buenos Aires or eating
cake.

Ina is a lawyer from Hamburg. She runs her own office and specializes in copyright, media and internet law. Ina studied law at the Hamburg University and soon found an interest in all legal issues concerning the media. To be able to offer an even more personal counseling service and to focus on clients that are creators and users of art and media without being part of the big media industry, she decided to quit her employment and opened her own legal office in Hamburg.
Ina has been a speaker at The Hive twice before.

      Acknowledged by
      Apartment TherapyDesign*Sponge for her
“funky style”. Believes eating nutella out of the jar
with your finger is perfectly acceptable. Will work
      for shoes.
