- What is The Hive?
The Hive is the European blog conference, scheduled to take place once a year and is directed at all kinds of bloggers. Here you have the chance to meet other bloggers as well as people from the industry who are interested in collaborating with bloggers.
At The Hive brands, agencies, designers, leading and small bloggers from all over Europe will discuss the status quo as well as the future of blogging. In inspiring talks and hands-on workshops, they will share insights and present innovative projects and ideas.
- I’m new to blogging/just started out, is The Hive for me?
Absolutely! We provide keynotes for all levels of bloggers. Regardless if you’re new to the ball park or a pro, if you have 10 readers or 10.000. We all started out small. You will enjoy yourself. Promise!
- What is included in the ticket price?
The ticket price includes the complete conference on two days, with all keynotes and workshops, plus a goodie bag. We will provide drinks, snacks and lunch for you. An optional dinner is planned for Saturday evening, however the ticket for that needs to be purchased separately. You can see prices and register on the tickets page.
- I read you will have a dinner-get-together. Can I come too?
We would be happy to welcome you to dinner at the betahaus. We listened to the feedback of bloggers who came to The Hive 2012, who asked for more possibilities to meet, talk and connect with others. Tickets for dinner need to be bought separately on our ticket page. Please note: Dinner can only be booked, if you have purchased a ticket for The Hive.
- I can only attend The Hive on one day. Do you also sell 1-day-tickets?
No, there are only tickets for the complete conference.
- I bought and paid for a ticket, but I won’t be able to make it after all. Can I return it?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a refund. But you can ask our followers, if somebody would like to purchase your ticket from you. All details about sending the ticket and payment needs to be dealt with by you.
If you find somebody, who will take over your ticket, please let us know, so we can change the name in our lists. We need to know about the changes until May, 20th, 2013. After that, we cannot except any other changes.
- How can I sign up for the workshops?
Once you bought your ticket, you will have an opportunity to sign up for workshops.
Places for the workshops will be given on first-come-first served- basis. We can not guarantee a spot in your favorite workshop though. But all of them will be great. Really!
- I’m a member of the media. Do you have press tickets?
No, we do not provide press tickets. But if you become a media partner, tickets are included in the package.
- Will there be a party on one of the evenings?
No, we will have a fun dinner get together on Saturday evening, for which you can purchase a ticket.
- We would like to sponsor The Hive, do you have options?
Yes, we do. Two full days of amazing speakers and hands-on workshops - we offer a range of sponsorships. Being a sponsor means that you have access to many bloggers from all over Europe in one place. Use our contact form or write an e-mail to info@thehive-conference.com and we will send you our sponsorship packages.
- I would love to speak at The Hive. Is that possible?
In the past we have given spots to bloggers, who have approached us. Please read our speaker policy before and write an e-mail either our contact form or to info@thehive-conference.com introducing yourself and giving us a small abstract, what you would like to talk about. We cannot guarantee that we have a spot for you, but we will discuss the options.
- What do I need to bring to the conference?
Please bring your ticket to the conference. We check you accreditation on conference day and we’ll then provide you with a badge. Please note that the badges will not be sent to you before the event.
Tip: Business cards are not required, but if you want to connect with others at The Hive, they are recommended!
